About

Elisabeth H. Buck, PhD

I’m an Assistant Professor of English & Communication and the Director of the Multiliteracy and Communication Center at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.

As a scholar and teacher, I am interested in exploring the intersections of digital literacies and writing center studies. I also enjoy teaching writing at all levels—including for public relations/business, first-year composition, and multimodal communication.

I’m the author of Open-Access, Multimodality, and Writing Center Studies, a work nominated for the 2018 International Writing Center Association‘s Outstanding Book award. To learn more about my research and view a condensed version of my CV, please click here.
